Queens College alumna narrates how over N1million contributed by her set for diarrhea containment was allegedly diverted by their treasurer

In September 2017, there was a diarrhea outbreak at Queens College Yaba which made a number of students sick and also led to the deaths of three students.

The outbreak was caused by the contaminated water sources in the school which contained various forms of E-Coli, and Salmonella, among other dangerous pathogens. The Lagos State Ministry of Health had to shut down the school till the situation was contained.

During the outbreak, Some Alumnae of Queens College took it upon themselves to donate some money to the school so as to help with the containment to the dreaded disesae. In total, a set donated 1,024,000 but were unfortunatley duped by a fellow alumni who travelled out of the country instead of depositing the money to the school's account.
